It’s time to talk about cookies. Specifically, the recipe for the best triple chocolate chip cookie you'll ever eat.
There are so many different kinds of cookies. All of them are delicious in their own right, of course! But this cookie…let me tell you about this cookie, ladies.
This cookie is crisp around the edges, and soft in the middle. This cookie has not one, not two, but three different types of chocolate in it. This cookie will make you fall in love with the world all over again!
I give you, the Divine Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie, which in my opinion is the recipe for the best triple chocolate chip cookie in the world.
Ingredients:
1 ½ sticks butter, softened
¾ dark brown sugar
½ cup sugar
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 ¾ cups flour
Pinch of salt salt
¾ tsp baking soda
⅔ cup white chocolate chips
⅔ cup milk chocolate chips
⅔ cup dark chocolate chips
A stand mixer is best for this, but a hand mixer will work just fine! Just takes a bit of muscle!
As always, preheat your oven to 350 degrees first, to ensure even baking!
Next, use a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, or a hand mixer to cream together the butter and both the sugar and brown sugar!
Add in the egg and vanilla once the butter and sugars are creamed, being careful not to over-beat the egg into the mixture.
Now it’s time for the dry ingredients! Add them a little at a time to keep from winding up looking like a Halloween costume leftover!
When the dough is formed, it’s time for the chocolate! Fold the chocolate chips in, until they’re spread throughout the dough!
Place rounded spoonfuls on a greased baking sheet, and bake for 10-15 minutes, until edges are golden-brown! Let cool for about five minutes before transferring to a wire rack!
Voila! Delicious triple-chocolate chip cookies! Now, I do want to add a word of caution about the white chocolate. Most bags of white chips are not actually white chocolate, but vanilla chips. Make sure to look at the back of the bag to ensure there is cocoa butter listed as an ingredient, otherwise, it’s a fraud of white chocolate! What I sometimes have to do is get a couple of white chocolate baking bars and chop them up in lieu of white chocolate chips. This usually turns out better, because the white chocolate just melts into the cookie dough, infusing it with flavor throughout!
Now, these cookies? You could keep them all to yourself. I won’t tell! You could eat them warm with a scoop of ice cream for an awesome treat!
But if you really must share them, they’re great for an office party! Or maybe to give to that new cutie that moved in next door....
However you decide to enjoy them, I know you’ll love these cookies!
