1. Peanut Butter

Adding peanut butter to your cheesecake gives it a yummy, creamy flavor! But add a little bit of sugar and Cool Whip or it won’t be sweet enough. Drizzle a little chocolate on the top for absolute perfection!

2. Oreos

I love to crush up Oreos in the food processer and then add then to the cream cheese mixture before I put it in the crust. It’s almost as yummy as an Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's!

3. Flavored Puddings

Experiment with different instant pudding flavors. Simply mix it up according to the directions and then add it to your cream cheese and blend well. Try any flavor, from banana to tapioca!

4. Fruit

You can add any fruit topping to your cheesecake. My favorites are strawberry, blueberry, and cherry. Don’t be afraid to experiment with other flavors and textures though.

5. Vanilla

Add a teaspoon of vanilla to your regular cheesecake. You might be surprised by how it enhances the flavor! Just don't add it til your cream cheese is well blended or it will be lumpy.

6. Caramel

This is only for those with a sweet tooth! Add an entire jar of caramel topping or sauce to your cream cheese mixture. You can mix it whipped cream for extra fluffiness. Blend well and top with crushed Butterfingers.

7. Coconut

You can add coconut flavoring to your cream cheese and blend it well. Then sprinkle coconut flakes on top. A very yummy island-y dessert!

Don’t forget that you can add Cool Whip to any or all of these ideas for a creamier, smoother texture. Be sure and refrigerate your cheesecake for at least an hour before serving. What’s your favorite yummy cheesecake twist?

I've found that popping the cheesecake into the fridge for an hour or so after you make it helps to firm it up and slice much easier. also, try using less whipped cream, which can sometimes make it soupy.

Thank you Air Force Bride, for your tips. I will definitely test them out.

My family and I love cheesecakes, but cutting them is such a task? I even tried dipping the knife in hot water between slices. Any tips please?
