1. Carrot Cake

There are lots of variations on this theme, some with cream cheese icing and some without. My own preference is to leave off the icing, but I’ve found a recipe with it, so you can please yourself.

2. Banana Cake

My mum has a great recipe for banana bread. I could eat huge wedges of this fantastic cake. It’s not too sweet, but very satisfying.

3. Ginger Cake

A classic cake, and for a very good reason – it’s just so tasty. I once tried an egg-less recipe and it worked beautifully. So here’s a recipe for vegans or people with allergies.

4. Chocolate Fudge Cake

Choco heaven! Indulgent, calorific and divine. Dive in!

5. Blueberry Muffins

I just can’t decide whether I prefer these or double choc chip, but since I’ve already included a chocolate recipe, here is the blueberry version.

6. Grand Marnier Cheesecake

This is the favorite of a friend of mine, and no wonder. Look at the picture of this glorious cheesecake and drool.

7. Tiffin.

You don’t even need to bake this cake! How easy can it be. I leave out the raisins, horrible things.
